2002 Lake Superior ProRally

The Lake Superior ProRally lived up to its legend as the toughest rally of the season. The cold, rainy, and often snowy conditions made stage roads quite a challenge. Many top cars were lost in the first day, some to odd circumstances. Regardless of the weather record crowds showed up for the spectator stages on Saturday showing they were rally fans even if they couldn't see the big air on Brockway Mountain. I was not able to get much from this rally as the weather wouldn't cooperate long enough for me to keep the camera out. I was also only seconds short of being allowed next to the jump on Brockway. While mostly my fault for being behind schedule the jump was closed 10 minutes earlier than stated on the press information. I was still able to gain some video and stills from near the finish control of that stage. I'm still working on a video presentation of all my rally footage so keep checking the front page for news of more content.
